We are very excited to announce that Rey will be having his first art showing at MadArt Gallery in Saint Louis this September!
Please join us on Friday, September 1, 2017, at 7:00 p.m.- 10:00 p.m. Proceeds will be donated to Defeat MSA, an organization dedicated to raising awareness and finding treatments for this rare disease. Free entry, cash bar.
In addition to proceeds going to Defeat MSA, the MSA Shoe will also be making an appearance at the opening. The MSA Shoe is a tool for spreading MSA awareness, increasing support for MSA patients and their caregivers and fighting MSA by raising vital research dollars.
We’ve added more details on each painting on the site as well as prices.
We look forward to seeing you at the opening!

We’ve slowly, but surely been able to upload more of Rey’s photos to the website. As we’ve said before, we hope to constantly update his website with some of his newest pieces. However, a better way to follow us is on Instagram @paintingwithmsa.
Check out the details on each piece here.
Rey’s family has been adding more and more of his paintings to the website each and ever day. You can find each painting here!
If you’re interested in buying a painting, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com. We would be happy to answer any questions you had about the paintings in terms of size, color, etc.
All proceeds from Rey’s paintings will go to MSA research. Rey wants his work to spread the awareness of Multiple System Atrophy, and so by selling his paintings, we will make sure every penny goes to MSA research and awareness.
To learn more about MSA, check out the Mayo Clinic website or Defeat MSA.
This website was started to spread awareness of Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) and showcase Rey Umali’s paintings. This website is managed by Rey’s family, who continues to support and encourage his love of art.
Painting has become a form of therapy for Rey after his diagnosis. Rey spends his days painting in his studio, playing cards with friends and listening to music. As his speech abilities decreases, he uses the paint brush to communicate.
We understand that living with MSA is not easy. We have experienced the extreme heartbreak that comes with this diagnosis. However, we try to stay positive throughout this time. We have many things to be thankful for, including a loving family and friends.
We thank you for checking out our site! If you are living with MSA, we are here for you.
We will continue to update the website with Rey’s newest paintings. You can also check us out on Instagram to see more recent updates!
